A reader on water quality issues has been published by the United Nations Office to Support the International Decade for Action ‘Water for Life’ 2005–2015, which implements the UN-Water Decade Programme on Advocacy and Communication (UNW-DPAC). The reader provides basic references for easy reading and some of the latest and most relevant UN publications on water quality. It also contains references for specific audiences such as water suppliers, educators, farmers or policy-makers.
The UN-Water Decade Programme also hosts a thematic webpage on water quality which presents the main related challenges, introduces some basic concepts, and provides a large selection of UN electronic publications on water quality. |
