13–15 August 2012, Oulu • The XXVIIth Nordic Hydrological Conference will be in Finland. It is all about hydrology in a wide sense. The main theme focuses on catchment restoration and water protection. The subjects will revolve widely around the main theme with oral and poster presentations, and special workshops.

The conference promotes exchange of experiences from hydrological research and practice. As a hydrologic gathering, the main goal is to identify, set‐up and strengthen collaborations, leading to real partnerships between researchers, decision makers and managers of water resources.

• Climate and hydrology
• Cold climate hydrology
• Groundwater systems
• Land‐use, hydrology and water quality
