On 8 April 2010 Bart Goes held a presentation on Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) in Nigeria at the VU University in Amsterdam. His presentation went into the river basins of the Hadejia-Jama’are, Komadugu and Yobe in the semi-arid North of Nigeria and the Cross River in the humid South of Nigeria. Bart Goes worked in Nigeria for several years, recently for the Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Reform Programme (WSSSRP) of the European Union.
